Foreign buyers interested in Canmore real estate

With the Canadian dollar continuing to dip relative to the US Dollar, the British Pound, and frankly most currencies, we have certainly seen a rise in out of country interest in the Canmore Real Estate market – in fact, you can find me quoted in articles in the Calgary Herald, Globe and Mail, National Post,  and the Vancouver Sun from a Canadian Press reporter (Bill Graveland) I spoke to this weekly (one of a few media outlets that have contacted me, including Reuters)!  Drew also appeared on CTV news yesterday to speak to the same increased interest, so the media is definitely paying attention!

We have had a very busy week thus far, with 3 accepted offers and 2 others on going for properties with asking prices anywhere from $3,500,000 to $300,000 and 2 of the accepted offers are on properties asking $1.4 million and $1.2 million.  We have also received another buyer inquiry from the UK just yesterday, further strengthening the notion of out of country interest!
